Types of Inspection
Operational Inspection
Following EN 15567 standards, High Ropes Courses should have an operational inspection every 1–3 months. These should be conducted by a Competent Person skilled in assessing essential components like structural poles, wires, and maillons.

​​​​​Periodical Inspection
Widely known as the annual inspection, this should be carried out on your ropes course by an inspection body between 12 - 15monthly. For mass throughput ropes courses courses, some operators deem a six month cycle.

PPE Inspections
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) makes up most of an activity centre / operators equipment and is integral to safe operation.
Following the requirements of EN 15567 - Part 2, the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Regulations, PUWER (Provision and use of Work Equipment) & LOLER (Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulation) all equipment must be checked regularly by a competent person.
