Types of Inspection

We offer the complete inspection package.

 

Our packages include both operational and periodical inspections.

We provide a full report with suggestions and guidance on how to ensure competent, safe delivery of activities.

 

We also provide the practical training to ensure that your staff are competent in that delivery.

Operational Inspection

EN 15567 states operators should carry out Operational Inspections every 1-3months. These inspections should be carried out by a Competent Person capable of assessing structural components (Poles), Inspecting Wires & Maillons to name a few requirements. 

Periodical Inspection

Widely known as the annual inspection, this should be carried out by an inspection body between 12 - 15monthly. For mass throughput courses, some operators deem a six month cycle.

- Verify inspection regime & maintenance regime. 

- Verify Opening checks are suitable and in place

- Verify Arborist report is in place 

- Verify a PPE inspection regime is in place

- A full assessment of your course and all components 

- A full alterations and amendments report (if required) 

PPE Inspections

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) makes up most of an activity centre / operators equipment and is integral to safe operation.

 

Following the requirements of EN 15567 - Part 2, the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Regulations, PUWER (Provision and use of Work Equipment) & LOLER (Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulation) all equipment must be checked regularly by a competent person

Ropes Course Inspections & Training staff are all qualified Competent Persons.
