Jacobs Ladder Replacement

This Jacobs Ladder, originally built by RCD, had exceeded its expected lifespan and was showing signs of decay, along with large finger entrapment points that posed a safety concern.

We replaced it with a new, purpose-built ladder constructed from playground-grade glulam poles, providing a durable and long-lasting solution designed to minimise the risk of decay, splits, shakes and checks. The result is a safer (EN 15567 compliant) more robust element that will provide the centre with many more years of use.

New Crate Stacking Activity

A brand-new crate stacking activity, carefully designed and installed between the existing trees to complement the centre’s forest setting.

The activity provides an exciting challenge for two active climbers, with group belaying incorporated to encourage teamwork and participation.

SRBs are mounted on trolleys, allowing instructors to move easily between belay points and provide controlled, efficient access throughout the activity.

New Tree Climbing Activity

A cost-effective tree climbing activity designed for this newly opened activity centre, providing an exciting attraction for customers throughout the season.

Using Monkey Hardwear equipment, we created two climbing routes on the tree, making it ideal for 90-minute taster sessions.

The design offers a great balance of challenge and accessibility while maximising the use of the existing tree and providing an engaging experience for a wide range of participants.
